SWIMMING? Yes, Supervise only and be advised that chlorine
in water affects the coat and skin- it is very harsh.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES?  Yes, with gusto! Boating, hiking,
anything you like outdoors, they will be right there.
Remember their ancestors were bred to hunt.

FUN ACTIVITIES?
  • TRACKING- you will need a 40 ft line. To scent use any old discarded
    personal object: like gloves, scarves, handkerchiefs, wallets, keys, etc.
    For marking tracks use surveyor's flags or brightly painted clothes
    clips.
  • AGILITY-  You can purchase agility training gets or just set up some
    poles ( dowel rods, old curtain rods,) in the ground and run them with
    your dog;
  • EARTH DOG- Digging is natural, teaching him to sit and wait for the
    other dogs is another story.
  • OBEDIENCE TRAINING- This is a wonderful socialization process as well
    for you and your dog.  Your Westie will love it!  Don't be surprised if
    your puppy becomes the teacher, like Hollie, or the "best in class" like
    Rocket!

January 14, 2009- Some of these little guys had to be woke up to take their picture, so they look a little sleepy!  FAQ When
do the ears come up? I always answer, when they want to!! Not to be smart, but I don't think they come up until they need to
hear - boogers!, varmits!  As long as mom is watching, who needs alert ears!!!! Never fear though, they will come up!

My newest pictures of Katie after my grooming. I
hope I captured her precious attitude, wonderful
markings (ie dark skin, beautiful  ears and
gorgeous white coat!).  She is a little lover and
she reallllllllllllllly loves Willie.  I had hoped to
have her miss a litter, but it just didn't work out!  
She will have puppies in September and they will
be ready for homes in October.  Click on Want a
Westie to fill out your contract and info form and
mail with deposit for September litter.  Deposit
$250 with a balance of $250 for males and $350
for females.
