Abby and Willie's litter, whelped April 11, 2011
This is Abby's 2nd litter- 3 females and 4 boys!  Number
7 is tucked under the blanket to the left of the one at
the bottom of the picture. I love the way they cover
them up, one time I looked in there and they were all
under the soft blanket.  I also think it is cute how they
llne up in a row head to tail. Next week they should
have doubled their weight, which for now is @ 2 oz
each.  They would fit in a tea cup. Abby is a great
mother and just like last time very protective.  She
looks up at me and  says, ' I am not going to have to
bite you to leave them alone, am I?"

6 wks- Mama has first lesson in
reading so we can read all the news
and the dangerous labels we have to
avoid.  Our ears are up (most of us)
and we are learning to take care of our
selves.  We have alreadly learned to
bark when something new comes into
view or we hear a different sound.  We
have hear that Mama and Mums are
getting ready to put us on our own.
We hear Mama say to Mums, "Their
feet and teeth really hurt me, I think its
time for me to go!"  Mums is really
glad they have wonderful homes and
loving parents to take care of them.
We will miss our Mama and our
brothers and sisters, but hey,
everybody has to leave home
someday and start a new home. Right?
